Sandra Lee's Story
Hello, Everybody!
I never go to these reunions. I don't enjoy social functions, except for my church. Besides, I was so shy and such a geek, I doubt that anyone would remember me! Have you seen my picture in our senior yearbook? Yikes! My sophomore and junior pictures are worse!
I met my first husband; a lance corporal in the Marines, on Waikiki Beach, on Oahu, in Hawaii on January 5th, 1971. We were married in my church near Manoa Valley, where I lived and then moved to Fallbrook, California to be close to Camp Pendleton, where he was transferred. Joe gave me two beautiful daughters and then decided that he didn't want to be a husband and father after all! How rude!
I moved to Pennsylvania and met my second husband, Hal, when the girls were still very young. We married and he adopted them. He passed away from complications of Leukemia. He was a wonderful hus...Expand for more
band and devoted father to my daughters, Sarina and Samantha. We miss him.
I moved back to Phoenix, Arizona, where I lived with my family for the first ten years of my life.
My daughters are grown now, with children of their own. I have two great-grandsons.
I am retired from retail work. I loved it!
I now have all the time in the world to give to my writing. I have two books out there. They are expensive, but I am saving up to bring down their prices. I write for children, 8-12.
My first book is "Billy, Age 14". My second is "Lost & Found". This is my picture on the back cover of "Lost & Found". My pen name is Sydnee L. Morgan.
I am the children's Sunday school music teacher at my church.
I'm sure that everyone will have a fantastic time at the reunion, but I will not be there.
I'd love to hear from you. Does THS have my email address?
Have fun!
